There are factors to consider when gauging the success of a crypto community. These factors include, and may not be limited to:

Rate of community growth – The growth of the community is determined by the number of newcomers and the number of members leaving the community. If the rate of growth of new community members is more significant than that of those who left, it can be a healthy indicator of the status of the community. 
Rate of active involvement of the community – The interaction of the community with the project owners and community facilitators (Community managers and moderators) can indicate the health of the community. If fewer people are getting involved in community activities may show an unhealthy status, while considerable engagement shows the strength of the project.
Rate of engagement on social media content – Some activities require the participation of the members, which requires a call to action. This activity shows the interest of the community members to share and promote the project to their network. But if the community does not engage in such activities, it may indicate a lack of interest in promoting the project.
Active involvement of community builders – Community managers and moderators initiate creative activities to keep the community engaged and actively answer any questions from the community concerning the project. These are key people who ignite the conversation and involvement of the crypto community and establish the community’s trust in the crypto-related project owners.
